I'm ready to finally dive in and pick up a DVD player. I've been visiting this site for quite some time and have been checking up on the DVD Players list. The Sony DVP-NS715P is #2 on the "top rated list." I noticed that Circuit City is closing out the model as well as Sears. Does anyone know why they're getting rid of it, and if they are replacing it with a new, better model? I'm not sure if I should buy it now or wait for the next one.

My guess is the player is near the one year old mark and no longer in production. BTW I have the player and of the three DVD players I have it is by far the best.
