  1. Has anyone has gone to http://www.ezexpo.com/products.asp "EZ Expo" and purchased an e-book and actually received a Sony DVD Burner? Links to this site are frequently sold on ebay for $1.99-3.99. If anyone has done this or has any experience with this site, please reply to this post.

  2. WARNING : Most of these lures are what's called a Pyramid tactic. It depends how many people jump on the purchase. Then you have to worry if the person on the top of the pyramid actually comes through or takes the money and runs. For my honda Accord we have a great site which I've been looking for that deals with Electronics. It's www.groupbuycenter.com this would be a awesome money making idea for anyone with enough time to make the site. Or does this already exist that I haven't been able to find.

have to agree with Senojscott - this is better (from the SELLER's point of view) than a pyramid scheme, because you are actually paying for the e-book, then you will get the burner (or plasma screen tv or PDA or whatever) as a "gift" when enough people join your "gift matrix" (as one site puts it).

    The problems are:

    1) you have no way to audit them so
    2) you have to trust them to do right by you, but
    3) since they have actually given you something for your money (the e-book), and ostensibly that's what you paid for, there is no legal way to get back at them should your "gift" never materialize. (Unlike a pyramid or Ponzi scheme, this is legal, since you're getting *something*, however useless, for your money... so for the seller, it's a free pickpocketing license)

Man! I should start a site like that! :P :P

  4. House Pig : Have you ever seen a site like that? The reason they do it with cars is b/c the cost of aftermarket parts makes it worth it and so would computer parts. Everybody I know that is into cars and the site supports that brand, ALL of them always buy there. Cheaper then anywhere else.....!!
