I have been burning movies for over a year now with Stomp Recordnow MAX and have never had a problem up until yesterday.
I have a copy of The Sandlot and Transporters. The problem is when i set the job to DATA and select the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders and burn, RNM is jumping all around in the time of burning. The movies are both 4.36gb and should take about 63min @1x. Well it starts at 63min and then jumps to 23minutes. Then out of nowhere the disc is done and when i look at the writing side, only about half the disc was written on!

I have tried these movies with Nero and it seems to work because Nero arranges the files in the correct order for burning.(which i think might be my problem) but then i doubt it because i have the files in the correct order to begin with.

Anyways, i deleted Recordnow MAX 4.10 and upgraded to 4.5 Platinum, thinking my RNM went bad on me. But still i have the same problem.

So can anyone help me out here? I have wasted 5 discs already and i can't see what i did wrong here. I have never changed any settings either within RNM. So i dunno, maybe i need to fix a setting or something somewhere. All i know is, this is driving me nuts, because i happen to prefer RNM over Nero.

recordnow max will not burn a VIDEO_TS file in video mode if the file is not correct. Something is wrong in the file when that happens. I had teh same problem way back. It is a problem that sometimes happens when I use ifoedit. The solution? Re-do it with dvd2one and it should fix the problems.

  5. I too have had problems burning the VIDEO_TS folders done in file mode with DVD Decrypter or smart ripper. Files are under 4.3gig, but wont burn (Record max claims problem with disc) but when I run the VIDEO_TS folder through DVD2One then burn its fine.
Is this a problem with the BUP files as this is the only thing DVD2one puts in its output folder.
And why does Nero burn them fine (dont like using Nero as posted problems with DVD).

    Using Record Max Now V4.50

    Cheers All
