I have converted many Divx files with no problems. This is the first time I have tried with Xvid.
The file I have plays perfect in Divx Player but when I try to play in WMP it has a green colour through it and very patchy/blocky.
I have been trying to convert it to MPEG2 with TMPGEncoder so as to burn to DVD but when I convert the file it also plays back with the green colour through it and very patchy. I have ( hopefully ) got all the codecs installed that are needed, as I am aware of the need for this before using TMPGEncoder.
Any help much appreciated
Mike

There's loads of good advice on this subject, do a quicksearch on xvid and you will sort your problem out in no time.
( I prefer the 4 CC Changer thing myself ).
