  1. I have a DivX file and i wish to extract the audio to wav, however, when i use full processing mode on Virtualdub, i get this error:-

ACM reported error on audio decompress (200)

Any ideas how to get round this?

I have tried divfix to no avail.

    Any help much appreciated

What does vdub show as audio under the file information? its probably ac3 audio. you will need to to a direct stream copy of audio rename to *.ac3. then get a ac3 to wav converter. then encode using the avi & wav file.

  3. The audio is MP3, it gets about 75% of the way through extracting before I get the error.

Ive done AC3 before, that wont even start extracting.
