  1. i've recently attempted to encode with tmpg in order to use the fullscreen options that is there (because i HATE watching a wonderful movie in widescreen!) and i am left with the mpeg-2 file. i know in order to burn to dvd+r, the bup and ifo files are needed. what process should i take in order to make this a functional dvd? thank you for any insight on the matter! why? you don't like the way the director wanted the movie to be?
    His name was MackemX

What kind of a man are you? The guy is unconscious in a coma and you don't have the guts to kiss his girlfriend?

You need to 'Author' the DVD. There are many tools available for this. If all you want is to play the movie (no chapters or menus) then ifoedit can do this. Otherwise you need an commercial authoring program Some to choose from would be Ulead Movie Factory or Ulead DVD workshop, Dazzle DVD complete, Sonic MyDvd and many others. Read some authoring guides and make your choice.
