  1. Hi,
I used to be able to convert divx movies to VCD with no problem, but now with the emergence of a new form of divx, I have encountered a problem attempting to rip the audio the same way I did with past movies. I try to open the movie using VirtualDub to rip the audio as it states in the guide on this site, but it says that it is unable to locate a codec for format XVID. I tried searching for this issue on this, but I wasn't sure which threads applied to my problem. The question I have is where can I find this codec so that these new divx movies will be compatible with VirtualDub? All I need is to rip the audio so I will be able to use TMPGEnc to convert to MPG format so I would be able to put it onto VCD. For a picture of the problem I am having, please view this link.

  2. Thanks for reading, but I think I found the answer. All I did was go to the tools section and downloaded the XVID codec. Hopefully, this will be the answer to all you who are experiencing the same problem as myself. Good luck!
