  1. I use tmpg12 to convert .avi to .mpg, and they always show up as standard compliant before i burn it with nero 5.5. The audio is in sync when i watch it on the computer, but when i watch it on my apex 500w the video sometimes speeds up, and then slows down and the audio eventually catches back up with it, but i want to know what i can do to fix this problem

  2. It's odd that it would play fine on your PC but have sync problems on the DVD player. What format was your source in? Is it possible it wasn't 30fps?

  3. well, i tried burning it at 30fps, but still had the same problem, so i tried 29.97fps. Is there anything i can do to fix it?

  4. this happened to me all the time. the first half of the movie plays fine on my pc, but the second half plays horrible on my standalone. I swithced over to svcd and it fixed the problem.

  5. i had this problem when i encoded to vcd. instead of encoding to vcd, encode to svcd. the result is better and the audio not matching with video is not a problem anymore.
