i've been try to convert five 35mb .asf(originally .wmv) into any file, able to be converted into a media able to be played back on a dvd player.
i tried using windows media encoder 7.1, which just shuts down in error. After that, i used asf tools. which stops about halfway through the file and, and leaves 2 files; one .avi file and, one mp43.
now i have read over previous forum post and the how to's i haven't found any info. in regards to my result.
any help (informative comments), is greatly appreciated. Or if any one has alternative methods that may want to be suggested is considered too.
i just want to find a simple satisfying way to convert .asf to .avi/.mpg
