Hi all.
Is it possible to play .dat files or do I have to convert it to MPEG ? If so, how do I do that?

WMP should play .dat - assuming you are playing from CD. Just browse to the MPEGAV folder on the CD - choose "View all File" and click on the .dat file to open.

*.dat files is already mpeg files.
If you want convert them to *.mpg format files, read at this site left "Convert...", or search this forum for more.
And *.dat files you can play at PC and if they written to cd in VCD format, you can play at dvd.
