I was trying to split an avi in two parts therefore I used VirtualDub and I tried it with AviSplitter as well.
I chose the beginning of an part and then the end.
Everything works fine. BUT:
The second part starts maybe two seconds earlier then what I set the beginning frame to! Any suggestions how I can fix this problem.
So that the one part ends and the next part beginns at the same frame?

If you are cutting a Divx or Xvid clip, it may be jumping to the previous keyframe rather than the frame you would want.

Yes, a clip must start at a Key frame. You can cut the end of a clip anywhere you want, but the start of a clip must be set at a Key frame. Use the Key frame button in Vdub to find them. 8)
