When i encode an avi with TMPenc the film goes out of sync i've ripped the audio off with goldweave done a frame scan with virtuadub and that comes up ok. I am running media player 9 these probs only seemed to have started after updating to m/p 9 could this be the prob and if so how can I uninstall media player and go back to older version.

Did you watch your finished encode on your stand alone or on WMP 9?.
1. If you just watched it on WMP 9 the chances are it will be OK. Try using Power DVD or similar.
2. You can't un-install WMP 9, you need to do a sys restore.
