  1. I been tempted by a package called DVD squeeze which apparently can squeeze a standard DVD onto a CD. Has anybody used this package and does it work as advertised?

Heres their website if you havent seen the product yet

  2. Forget dvd-squeeze. . i have'nt tried it nut thats sounds too good to be true. A regular cd cannot handle the same bitrate as a dvd. they fooling you for your money. Go with a free version that does the same thing almost the same quality as dvd

    go here and download it

    http://www.dvd2svcd.com

after you download the program make sure you read the guides they are very helpful. And also get Cinema craft encoder 2.5, they have a link on teir website. This encoder is very fast compared to some other encoder out there.

You can convert your dvds to one vcd on a standard cd-r
or two svcds from a dvd movie.

On a vcd you put about a hour 30 minutes of movie which is decent quality. the max bitrate for vcd is 1150kbps

I have a dvd player that reads svcds. svcd is higher standard then vcd. but takes two cds for a 2 hour movie. the max bitrate for svcd is 2.53Mbps

    good luck
