Hi, I have a file which I want to burn as SVCD. But my burning program refuses it (WinOnCD 6). I have loaded the file into AVIcodec to see details about the file. Here they are:
File : 795 Mb (795 Mb), duration 1:20:45, type DSH, 1 audio stream(s), quality 80 %
Video : 703 Mb, 1217 Kbps, 25.0 fps, res. 480*576 (0.83:1), = MainConcept MPEG Video, Supported
Audio : 92 Mb, 160 Kbps, 44100 Hz, 2 chan., 0x50 = Mpeg-1 audio Layer 1, Supported
As I said I want to burn it as SVCD but what settings do I have to use in TMPGenc? I have tried very long with very different settings. Once the image is screwed then there is the half missing. Another time it's too long for one CD :/ Perhaps you can help me? THX!

This file seems allright except for one detail: Audio shuold be MPEG1 layer 2 not 1.
Just choose the SVCD template in TMPGEnc for a SVCD compliant mpeg stream.
To tweak the settings, cancel the wizard, then manually set the stream types correctly (video mpeg2, audio mpeg1 layer 2, system MPEG2 Super Video CD) and use VBR with different average bitrate setting (to get different file size).
