  1. Can DivX Alpha Player 2.0 play XviD? And if it can, how is it done? I´ve tried installing Nemo Codec Pack but it just comes up with a "Cant play..." window. My Windows Media Player is playing Xvid fine.

  2. hi there. first of all divx player is no longer alpha. get the latest bundle to get stable 2.0 divx palyer.

2nd of all. i would suggest getting a different player all together. give zoom player a try. it can play almost every known file type even has a dvd feature. zoomplayer is also great for tv out.

3rd. install the latest stable ffdshow . you can set it to playback xvid/divx all/ mpg all/ and lots of others the options will amaze you. the resource load on your pc will be in some cases dramaticly lowered.

    ffdshow + zoomplayer = good

    zoomplayer download http://www.inmatrix.com/files/zoomplayer_download.shtml
