  6. In modded Virtual Dub I get pack syncronization error...please help

  7. Exactly what are you trying to do with these files? You say TMPG won't edit them. TMPG is not an editor. Neither is CCE.

  9. If you want to re-encode the film try frameserving from DVDx 2.2. It is freeware available in the tools section on the left. You will also neef the video serverpack 095 available at www.doom9.org. You must install this before you can use DVDx as a frameserver. DVDx will import mpg files and export avs and avi files. TMPG will accept avs files if it (TMPG) is configured right. I'm not sure about the version of CCE you are using, but the avi wrapper available in the video serverpack can be used with DVDx to create a dummy avi file that will be accepted by both TMPG and CCE.

  10. Where is the Server pack you mentioned can u direct me better....doom9 is sorta confusion.....thanks for your help too...also when trying to open the mpeg in dvdx it said it didn't have a header...maybe something along those lines..thanks again

  11. The video server package is in the download section under s/vcd tools at the doom9 website. It is called the videoserver plugin 0.951. As far as your mpeg file not having a header, try using dvdpatcher. I've never used it before but I think it can be used to fix header problems. It's in the tools section on the left under other useful tools.

Has anyone asked if you've installed the required MPEG-2 codec? It looks like your source was DVD, converted to SVCD/CVD.

Have you installed something like WinDVD, or PowerDVD? VirtualDub will often report that error when attempting to open MPEG-2.
