  1. I'm editing video in Windows Movie Maker 2, and then outputting to DV-AVI format (the only non-wmv format available). Then I convert to SVCD mpg in TMPGenc.

    The first video I did I had to choose bottom field first (field B) as the field order - field A gave jerky results. The second video I did (the exact same process), required top field first (field A) to get rid of the jerkiness.

    What's the trick to determining which field order to use?

    TMPGEnc's wizard tells you the correct field order to use.
