I bought a 100 Spindle of Ritek G03 a month ago and they are a Bad media for PS2 ver 30001!!!!
Game's intro skips ... game freeze....
so I am looking for something else. Verbatim is very expensive.
is Maxell good for ps2? no skipz and fast loading time??

Sure, ones that are labeled. I bought some at Staples and they work on my version 1 and 7 PS2's
I dont trust non labeled media. Could be factory defects or pirated low quality. -
Verbatim is the way to go, a little bit more expensive but well worth it, never any playback problems on any DVD player including PS2.
BestBuy has them for $39.99 for 15 pack -
I don't do games but my Ritek G03s burned at 1X with a Pioneer A05 all play flawlessly and these are the P7 variety with the white tops. I also have a version one PS2. What program are you using to burn the discs with? I've heard nothing but good results with programs like Prassi and Stomp RecordNow Max. I use DVD Decrypter for my movie backups nad haven't had a problem playing the burned discs in the several players I own...
