Hi. How would I go about copying DVDs (episodic) to CD-Rs without any type of compression? I have several Dragonball DVDs that I want to back up and figure they could fit onto CD-Rs (most episodes run around 20 minutes).
Thanks in advance for the help!

you're probably talking about minidvds. don't even bother. most dvd players will not play them. vcds and svcds have a limit in bitrate so i guess you're SOL.

No, actually I want to copy the VOB files to CD-R. I only want them to play on my computer, don't care if it doesn't work on standalone dvd players. I would like to do it without compressing (Xvid or Divx or such) since I guess it would fit completely on one CD-R (1 episode).
I've got tons of blank cds laying around and there always seem to be some free after rebate.
I kind of know how to use Smartripper. I'm guessing that I would have to make a new .ifo file??? -
if you want to do that, just copy the vobs.

I'm interesting in getting VOB files to play from cdr on my dvd player.
I've just got a AV-reciever and have found some dts, dolby digital demo's on the web in vob format and was wondering if i could use my cdr to produce something playable on my dvd player (Toshiba-sd220E) -

Do the maths mate...
There are generally 3 DBZ episodes on one single layered DVD (i.e., around 3-4 Gb).
That would make each DBZ episode around 1 Gb uncompressed.
That's not going to fit on one CD-R.
