My problem is as follows:
I'm encoding a Xvid file with Mainconcept. No problem but the aspect ratio is stretched as we know so I'm frameserving from Vdub with the resize filter and now the mpeg is green
What's the problem?
I can watch it with WMedia and Mainconcept works good with the xvid codec but the problem with the codec (I think) is when frameserving
Any idea?

green....yeap I seen that color before.
Koepi Codec 10/4/2002 or 4/10/2002 depending upon your country.
No green in final mode but maybe a green bar at bottom during final editing.
Main concept is a bit buggy -
Before MainConcept Encoder 1.3, it read AVS or VDR files some of the time. From 1.3 on, MCE won't read AVS or VDR at all, at least on my computer. I have to use Link2 Avi-wrapper to wrap AVS or VDR files, then serve it to MCE. Everything works fine this way.

Xvid can cause the green screen so you need latest codec to ensure that works ok. If not then it can also be caused by capturing method used to create avi file.
In avisynth add line "converttoyuy2" immediately after your avisource line, this has cured the green screen every time for me, not sure how you go about it in Vdub though...
