  1. HOw to check which media is good or bad??

Also, I am kinda understand what is the meaning of good/bad DVD-R. Good Quality DVD-R seems to have Higher Transfer Rate than those Bad media... that's why the PS2 game is sometime have a slow reading time and the DVD Movie on bad DVD-R always skips or freezes..... am I right?

It has alot to do with the quality of the ink thats used. If you click the dvd media link to the left you'll see its kinda trial and error. But recently I saw people using a test with NERO to see how steady the read back rate on different disk are...

I've started using a program called DVDSpeed by nero that I found on a yahoo search to test the read back rate of my DVD-Rs. You'll want to test them in a DVD-ROM instead of your burner though. Also that just test how good the disks read back is... you'll still want to try it in different players to test compatibility.
