  1. hi.. if i burnt a video file on a vcd.. and i deleted the orignal .mpg.. how do i rip that from the cd? thnx me newbie

    Use vcdgear or isobuster to copy the video from the VCD to a mpg (dat to mpg conversion).

    However, I have seen some VCD/SVCD files encoded with Nero or DVDx that cannot be opened by any PC software and cannot be repaired by any MPEG repair program. For some magical reason, they appear to play well on DVD players. Mystery...
