I've been having trouble using a 192kbit j-stereo 44100 Mhz MP3 encoded by LAME 3.93 as the audio in a DivX encoded with VirtualDubMod.
The video seems to encode properly, until it comes to viewing it with DivX Player. It says that the audio format included in the DivX file isn't recognised, yet I've managed to save the same audio format into a DivX with DVDx before.
I've tried both direct stream and full processing mode.

You problably doesn´t have the codec for the movie, try using a program called GSpot to find out if which codec the audio use.
Download GSpot from here:

Yet I've managed to properly play back MP3 audio in a DivX with the DivX Player encoded with DVDx.
