    O.k. so I got a dvdscreener d/l'd. Using Windows ME have installed Nimo Build 8 (basic) and Xvid. When I open the file with VirtualDub it plays immaculate.. but when I open it with WMP the video is pixelated..so bad I think I'm on acid! lol.. can anyone help me with this problem?

    Additionally, now the file won't playback on WMP.. WMP just freezes and I have to restart the computer! Aaarrrgguuhh!!!

    Any and all help would be appreciated.

    You could try ffdshow. At least it took all my XviD blues (greens) away.

    PS! And don't install codec packs, at least not Nimo. IMHO it breaks more than it fixes. (On my system, I couldn't play any AVI in WMP after a Nimo 8 install...) Just install the specific codec you need. When you stumble upon an AVI that wont play, find out what codec is needed (using GSpot) then install this and nothing else.
