  1. I've just bought TDK CD-RW Writer to replace my LG CD-RW writer (often fail to burn lately)
It includes Nero Express software package.

    The problem is :
I tried to burn VCD, using "create VCD" option (adding DAT file) not using CD Copy option.
What I dont understand is that after burned succesfully the DAT file could not be read (or played) by both my CD drives (I also have LITEON drive on my computer).
On LITEON drive the error message from Windows Media Player is 'unknown format' while on TDK the drive just keep reading and reading

But ... I can play that VCD on VCD player !!!

(The DAT file could be played if I use Copy CD option!!)

I never had any problem burning VCD using LG CD-RW Writer before.

As an additional note, the Nero Express software looks different than the previous installed Nero Burning software. I re-install my Nero software with Nero Express because the burning speed option for TDK CD Writer did not show up using the old Nero.

So my question : is that all about Nero Express ?? Or the TDK ?

    Please help. Thanks!

  2. First, make sure you are using latest NERO builds (5.5.10.15a) and if you are
stuck with the NERO Express, it means you are using an invalid Serial, and I
will not help you with that here.
