    AS soon as I open it up the error message comes up saying I am misssing a file. Any suggestions? What are some other good VCD author programs I can download for free?

    install the aspi driver.

    Have you tried Nero Burning ROM yet? I don't think it complains about ASPI drivers. It's in the Tools Section to your left.

    If you load Nero ,you can use its ASPi in VCDEASY also.
