    i have an avi file and i'm trying to extract the audio to .wav but i cant..

    when i choose full processing mode it works and outputs the wav file however if i double click on the wav winamp lauches and gives this error



    when i choose direct stream copy it outputs a wav file however when i double click on the file winamp launches and gives me this error

    you are missing a codec.
    try installing nimo, its a collection of codecs that might work for you.
    winamp will not play everything, so dont worry about that.

    Hii think that the sound is ac3.So you have to save in demux first.

    try to open the file in windows media player, sometimes if you don't have the proper codec installed, it'll automatically download it for you, but this doesn't always seem to work, but it's worth a shot.
