I use my ATI AIW 128 Pro w/32MB to capture in MPEG2 format. These captures always have perfect audio sync. The problem comes in when I attempt to modify the original capture. If I use TMPEG to make it SVCD-compliant or if I try to cut it in half or whatever, the resulting MPEGs lose their audio sync. Why does this happen?
Also, what solutions are available, if any, that capture to SVCD-compliant MPEG 2 format on the fly, with no post-capture processing required?

Doug - do a forum search on my name, you will find a lot of info on this issue. I have the identical ATI card, MMC 7.6 and 7.7 will do what you want.
