DVD Compatability issues includes sale so need answers fast

I am looking into buying a dvd burner but have a few questions?

Most important what media would I use to get compatability with all of these (xbox,ps2,norcent dp300 dvd player)?

Since I am lets say not well endowed with money and don't buy online I found the cheapest dvd burner in my city and cheapest media

Would I be lucky enough to get away with these for my compatability problems

$330 CDN on sale "LG Super CD/DVD ReWriter 12x8x32x 2x1x,2x1x10x" says it burns -r format
$200 CDN "HOTAN 4.7GB DVD-R, Inkjet Printable, 50 Pack" for pricingI just looked at the fact that works out to $4 CDN each instead of other types @ $10 CDN each

Since I have not really heard of Hotan before and I was looking around I found Verbatim dvd-r's that would work out to $4.5 CDN would these have compatability for xbox,ps2

Can't get these since they may be in my city but the only do online which I don't
