Apples and Oranges
You've got 2 movies in AVI, but AVI is NOT what is used in VCD, MPEG is.
If you have ~151 minutes of std VCD bitrate MPEG, it's gonna be ~1.5 GB. The only way to fit that amount of time on VCD is to make a low-bitrate XVCD. Use a bitrate calc for figuring that out.
If you don't plan on converting, you're really not making a VCD (or any other type of MODE2 disc). Then you're limited to Mode1 disc sizes, where std 80 min. discs top out at 700MB. This might be too close to fit both on a disc, unless you can overburn. Even then, it still won't be playable on a settop player.
Read some more of the FAQ's and How-to's on the left. That'll help you decide which choice to make.

sorry mate i had encoded them to mpegs i didn't make it very clear.
i just tried it on a dvd player and the picture kept skipping and audio. also the picture was much slower! the original avi was 20.00fps and i could only find the 19.98fps in tmpeg. I want to take both mpegs (eddie murphy delirious and Raw) and put them on a vcd with a front end menu which i already have but the mpegs wont play properly. All other films i do work fine ie DVD ripping , average bitrate divx and avi and top end SVCD but its just this shitty one thats pissing me off. here is the avi iun virtual dub , anyone suggest how to convert in tmpeg?
