  1. Hi,

I just ordered a hundred Ritek from Rima.com. I believe these are the G03. The dark purple with silver. The center of the hub on all appear to be "half glued". The rest of the disc seems great. Is the center of the hubs sometimes like this?

    Thanks, Jerry [/i]

well it is NOT normal to have a glue in the middle of ring
I have the same problem with ritek G03 printable from rima
it looks they have received very bad batch of riteks

I talked to them they think it is not a problem but they do not know anything about it...they just sell them....more sell..more money...
they did not want me to send 100 pack back so I told them you are loosing customer on it...I can go to 5 another online store to buy them...

They have been very anoying...so that was my last order from them...
    and I buy 200pcs a month...

well if you do not have problem everything's fine..if you have problem..they do not want to hear about...anywhere

thanks for the heads up!! I am a firm believer in learning from others misfortunes and in punishing retailers the only way we lowly consumers can--by going somewhere else. I was just considering buying a 100 pack there, so now I will keep looking!

maybe one day these guys will learn that you can't constantly screw people without some repurcussions on their bottom line.

If its kinda like a little scotch tape like center ring covering the plastic only part of the center then its QUITE normal, I've burned 100s of these things and seen it hundreds of times.

Good tip! although even if the problem is easily fixed--I think their handling of the situation should dictate whether or not you purchase from them--that kind of response from a retailer makes me shudder when I think what if there was a serious problem

  8. Hi,

Thanks for the replies. I'm sorry to hear about the trouble with Rima. I did some searching before ordering from them and most people it seems have been very pleased.

    Thanks, Jerry

  9. I think its Ritek's fault. They've never really had a good reputation for media up until DVDs. Their first CDRs were sub-par quality and it was only later that it became OK.
