Here is what Im trying to do with SVCD video authored to a DVDR (patched header trick+reencoded audio trick).
I have many small music video svcd mpegs's but some are PAL and some are NTSC. In Ulead DVD Movie factory it only lets me choose 1 for making a DVD iso else I think it tries to reencode the video to make it all NTSC or all PAL.
When I authored SVCD's the mix of pal and ntsc video was fine in VCDCEASY as my dvd player is able to adapt to this change. But making a real authored dvd is another story.
Is it possible at all to have PAL and NTSC video on 1 dvd like with SVCD?

AFAIK, this can't actually be done. You could try using DVDpatcher to 'convert' the PAL files to NTSC (or vice versa) and see if you can get them accepted by MovieFactory. They may not play right though.
