  1. I am having a bit trouble with a movie.
I checked in Vdub for bad frames, there was none reported.
I encoded in TMPGEnc with no problems.
I played it back in Windows Media player no problems
Then I burned as a VCD.
When I played the CD back about half way through it started intermitently breaking up and pops and whistles.
I then tried playing it back in PowerDVD, it had the same problems. In fact PowerDVX froze up at the same spot.
I would like to know if there is anything I can do to repair the mpg file?
    Thanks
    jack

did you use the vcd template with tmpgenc?
if so then it must be a burning/media problem. what cd-r media did you use?
what speed did you burn the disc at? try burning your cd-r's at a lower speed. because some dvd players have problems playing discs burnt at high speeds.
