This is for all you people out there who have diligently followed the guides and were dismayed when your xvid to vcd encoding process ended with a video that is out of synch when played on their standalone dvd player. I have tested many different dvd players and have found something very interesting all the players that were not progressive scan played my xvid vcds but the audio/video trailed from each other shortly into the movie, but on the PROGRESSIVE SCAN dvd players the vcds are in synch for the whole movie. In order for the XVIDS to play properly you must have 3:2 pulldown Progressive Scan on your player.FYI
