there is no such thing as a difference between mp3 file and mp3 audio. maybe its not an mp3 at all.

  4. This may sound simplistic but have you tried changing the extension to .mp3?
If that doesn't work you might ask/search this question in:

can you tell me how to do that? i have used computers a few years and i no idea how to do that.

earlier today i tried to convert it with headAC3he,but it couldn't see the file.
well now i just tried besweet it saw it as 'mp3_' and i converted to mp3.
it came out showing 520kbp/s and showing 1:12,but at least it works now.

  6. Make sure that under the options in Windows, you have the 'show extension' tab ticked. That means you can see like '.exe' or whatever at the end of the file.

When that is done simply select the file you want to change to MP3, then hit F2 and change the name from like "britney spears - oops i did it again" to "britney spears - oops i did it again.mp3"

You cold always try to re-encode it to .mp3 using a mp3 encoder, such as Lame or Bladenc. I've had to do this a few times before.
