I recently installed Ahead NEROVision and upon authoring my first DVD, discovered a slight problem. NO SOUND! I tried several things to remedy the situation, but in desperation, finally emailed the tech department of the software manufacturer. Three to Four weeks later, I finally got a response. Nothing beats punctuality! Apparently, some of the versions went out missing a .dll file. The good people at Ahead sent me a copy of this file, called "NeroMediaCon.dll". I installed it, and now everything works fine. I found that encoding with TMPGEnc and authoring with Ulead MovieFactory2 produces a much higher quality DVD as a finished product. But, if you've experienced the same problem and need the .dll file, I'd be happy to forward anyone the email that Ahead's tech department sent me.
Best Wishes
F-ING HOSTILE

Hi- Yeah I was using 1.0.4.6. It seemed easy to use (once I could get the audio to work), but I wasn't too happy with the quality of the finished DVD.
