I am using Adobe Premiere 6LE for editing and Ulead DVD Workshop for menu creation. I live in Australia so my format is PAL. I am struggling through getting premier under control but will get there with the help of my Classroom in a book![]()
My question is what do I do next? Do I render the edited video out to PAL using Premier and then create the menus in Workshop or do I use the un-rendered video in Ulead then output using Ulead? Also , the raw footage is basically in three parts. Do I need to join all three files in Premiere or can I edit and render in three different files then create a menu based on all three files to burn to one DVD?
Also as HDD space is always a citeria can anyone tell me the basic guides to:
___Mb AVI raw footage (edited) = ___ Mb rendered to PAL format DVD file
Maybe one of you Video Editing & DVD creation experts could write a guide or flowchart for the newby following the basic steps in DVD creation using Premiere, Ulead DVD Workshop & finally DVD burning (???best software) Ozzie format would be wonderful J but I am getting used to following guides written for US format
Hope my question is not too stupid but I am entering into the Brave New World of DVD creation with no help out here in the bush![]()
Many Many Thanks
