  1. When I try to preview in DVD Studio I get a message that I don't have the right hardware. It's a PowerBook 550 mgz with a DVD-rom. I can play DVDs on the internal drive. I'm burning to a Pioneer 105.

DVD Studio Pro expects to run on a machine configured with a G4 processor. DVDSP will not let you burn to a burner that isnt on the internal IDE bus (<may be incorrect terminology).

It is possible that your DVDSP needs upgraded and it is also possible that your Powerbook needs a firmware upgrade.

Are you running OSX? A good solution would be to go through the DVDSP forum on Apple.Com and see if ther eare other reports of this issue and any posted workarounds.

You should be able to preview Anything in DVDSP [except MPEG1] on hardware that is capable of running MPEG2 and DVDSP itself.

    Hope this helps.
