I need some help creating a MPEG1/2 ISO with nero i have a Pioneer A05 4x and a Sony DVP-NS715P. I tried to make a dvd by creating a new DVD-ROM ISO and draging the mpeg files onto the right side of the dvd and my dvd player says cannot play this disk.
Am i doing it correctly?
Is there anyother way or program i can use?

You need a DVD player that supports MPEG1/2 ISO Discs. if you don't you will have to use this method:
If you put MPEG1 files on to a DVD you need to convert the sound to 48khz, and that is known as "DVD-VCD"
If you put MPEG2 files on to a DVD it is "DVD-Video"
As far as I know nero can't create any of these. You need a DVD authoring package, My favorite is "Ulead DVD MovieFactory 2", It's easy to use and you can create custom menus.
Here is a guide to create a "DVD-VCD"
Here is a guide to create a "DVD-Video"
Best Regards.

thanks alot for the info, but my dvd player does support MPEG1/2 ISO Discs and i don't want to go through the trouble of converting anything. I just need to know how exactly to create a MPEG1/2 ISO Disc. I read somewhere u might have to make a folder called Video TS and put the mpeg files in there.... i don't want to waste all my dvd-r's trying to figure this out.... i need some more info on creating the MPEG1/2 ISO Disc with nero or any other problem u would recommend.
Thanks. -
Nero Vision Express can create the VIDEO TS and AUDIO TS structure for you. It is a free download on the Nero website.
The $20 DVD plugin available on the Nero website will also re-encode non-standard video and audio. This is probably required to use the DVD portion of Nero Vision Express.
Combining the two of those yield simple drag and drop DVD creation.
My Nero Burning also has a DVD-Video template that makes the VIDEO TS and AUDIO TS folders and I can make a DVD by dragging MPEG into the VIDEO-TS folder. That may be because I have the $20 DVD plugin installed.---------- -
You shouldn't need any dvd-video folder structure(video_ts folder) if your dvd player supports "mpeg1/2 iso". You should be able to select mpg/vob files in a "browser" from your dvd but mpeg1/2 iso may only work on CDR/W and not on DVDR/W on some players.
You could try burn in UDF/ISO or UDF 1.05 mode instead of ISO and see if it helps. Or else you may need to make a real DVD.
