[Slightly off topic]I was reading some old posts on Hypercube Transcoder yesterday, and noticed that (w/ past version) some would have difficulty parsing AC3 file. You usually discounted it to non-expected parameters (was expecting 5.1, 48k, etc).

I also just happened to have just finished reading and posting on a thread on the problems that some authoring apps have with AC3-particularly BeSweet encoded files. One thing that came out of that was the byte-order.

I'm wondering now if your app may be exhibiting the same sensitivity to byte-ordering with the AC3 files??? Something to check...
I'm just saying all this 'cuz I think you've got a great app here, and hope it becomes the best it could be.

'Course, if that was an old bug that has long since been cleared up, well then, NEVER MIND.

Thanks, keep up the good work. Hope to try the new beta out soon.

  3. I am using azid sdk. so if there is any trouble with byte ordering,
it was an azid sdk bug.
In fact, it is strange that you talk about byte ordering with AC3,
because it was a bitstream, not a bytestream. This is interesting.
where is the post you talking about ?
