ok...so i followed many guides and have been very successful in backing up movies keeping all menus and extras
but there have been some cases where i try to use ifoupdate and it tells me that the destination ifo has more pgc's than the authored ifo...
i am wondering if anyone knows how to author the multiple pgc's back into the ifo..
i have maestro and scenarist and ifoedit
if anyone knows that would be great!
thanks

put ifoupdate in adjusted cell mode
had the same thing before and it worked a treat.

that does indeed work for some ifo's that wouldnt work before!! thanks!
but there are still some that refuse to work...maybe I will just have to leave those vob's the way they are then and only reencode the ones I know can be updated.
thanks! -
That's exactly my problem with episode DVDs.
When you have multiple PGCs in one VTS it is all created in one set of continues vob files. When you re-encode only one PGC the vob or title set is no longer the same since the rest of them are missing from the vob title set. I'm not sure but I think ifoedit will only export celltimes and audio/video streams in only one PGC at one time.
So all of it means that multipme PGCs in one title set have to be turned to multiple title sets with only one PGC. How to go back? I think you have to reauthor with a different program like Maestro. If there is anyone that can answer this question I would be very interested.
Can ifoedit reauthor back to multipe PGCs?
