  3. About the size: if i check the size of all bmp's selected, it gives around 3 MB. The subs did not work in my dvd player but still i wanna know if they work, is there any software capable of displaying this subs?

Can i convert subs to closed caption? SVCD support closed caption?

  4. Did you choose SVCD subs, or CVD subs. Very few DVD players support SVCD subtitles, but most will play CVD subtitles. If you did SVCDs, try muxing/making a new MPEG with CVD subtitles instead and tell us if that works.

  5. I tried the SVCD sample provided in the tools section that contains selectable subs in CVD format but i wasn's capable of watching those subs either.

  6. Hmm, then I guess your DVD player doesn't support selectable subs for non-DVD sourses, sorry. IIRC PowerDVD and WinDVD allow you to select subtitles from SVCDs (not sure about if you just try to play the MPEG2 file directly). Might have to burn it first and then give it a go.

    Or get a DVD burner
