I have LOTR Box set and I am wanting to put the film onto 1 DVDR. I am guessing I can rip both discs so I just have the movie. Disc 1 and Disc 2, so when I have ripped both DVD's how do I then put them together to make it fit onto a DVDR?

    Just the movie no extra's

  2. I haven't tried this yet, but it seems I read that you rename the vobs (from both discs) with the same name and in a sequential order. Then use IFO Edit to "join" them. From there it is a matter of re-encoding. Hopefully you will be able to preserve the ac3 sound. That is the only question I have at this point.

You can do it with IFOedit. Just like the other post said as long as the full movie will fit onto one DVD-R disc. Just rename the VOB files in sequential order and you should be good. Don't forget to get the VTS sectors and region free it!!

  5. Don't give in to DVD2ONE, that leads to the dark side.
