    here is the problem I am having.

    when I play a mpeg which was converted from avi using tmpge, every minute or two for about a second the video speeds up. It is almost like the fps doubles then returns to normal.

    I am not doing any fancy options on my conversion. Just converting 23.976fps avi into a 23.976fps mpeg.

    Any hints guys

    I am also seeing this in a few SVCD that i have done and am not sure why?
