PIONEER FIRMWARE FOR 104 HAS CODE ERRORS IN IT (V1.40)

I just thought I would see if anyone has had problems with the OFFICIAL firmware (v1.40) ffrom Pioneer.No matter what burning program I was using (nero,gear,copy to dvd or RecordNow max) with this firmware and they would always end up sticking or jumping at some point.FEELING rather P****d off with this I had to roll back my firmware to 1.30 and then upgrade to the non official 1.40 which allows 2speed on any disk and is also rpc1.SINCE doing this I've not had any problems at all -seems the official version is somewhat FLAWED.

I have firmware 1.40 on my a04.

Burned about 40-50 dvd-r so far (including no name).

All worked TILL THE END just fine.. the discs play fine

I never had any problems before I installed this Pioneer firmware 1.40 as I had the previous firmare versions from Pioneer before this.After several frustrating efforts with this one I then got hold of the unnofficial one and whilst browsing for this I read several articles about people who reported there to be code errors in it(Pioneer deny this).Anyway since I've applied this firmware the problems have gone. HOOOOORAY
