I have only seen one of these as yet. It was on a Datavideo SVCD standalone recorder. If you record something on it, and play it back on a pc it has its own GUI so you can see it on any computer.
Trouble is I want to create fresh SVCD's on a pc for playback in as many different units as possible(stand-alone and pc/mac). Sure I tried to rip the SVCD for its files and add my own MPEG2's to a burning session, but I would have been naive to think this might work without altering some of the SVCD folder files. Also these are not SVCD compliant in the normal world. Datavideo quote 352 X 288 for PAL (Quality is down too, in my opinion you understand!)
For VCD there are a few, Roxio etc. and these are automatically added to your burn if you have the right MPEG files ready, but I haven't found one for SVCD.
I use TMPGenc/Nero 5.5
Any ideas???
