  1. OSU,

    thanks.

The ones I purchased that didnt work on my PS2's (v1 and v7) had serial numbers: A2VK4307A093

    ----------------

Maybe ill give them a try... Do they have rough or bubble edges? If they do they are factory reject type B discs.

I can burn them at 1x, but most of the 2x attempts fail shortly after starting or midway. I had one fail with only 5 MB written to the disc. Using Record Now 4.56 on Win2K on the Sony 500A rev G firmware. Switched to 4.6 and back to rev F, but the results are the same. Would like to use Nero, but the lead-out never finishes, even though the discs seem to play w/o issue in my environment.

FWIW never had one issue with more expensive media at higher speeds (up to 4x on Verbatim)

This is from one of the discs:
    00 42 00 00 01 40 C1 FD 9E D8 50 00 02 98 0C 13 .B...@....P.....
    76 78 80 00 03 4C 44 30 31 00 00 00 04 00 00 00 VX...LD01.......

I haven't burnt any of the 50 discs I bought today...however, I have used these in the past with my AO3 and AO4 and didn't produce even a single coaster for my 3 table-top players (SONY, PANASONIC and an APEX).

Will post results once I burn a few of the current ones.

We buy local, if it doesnt work we return them instantly and get our money back No sitting on a defective cake pk of DVD-R's you cant use cause of sh_ty return policy. Plus you get to inspect them before you buy. You dont know what the online store is going to send you.

  7. I just bought like 50 of these suckers... Anybody have any info regarding quality and how long I should expect these to last? I backed up two of my dvd's so far and worked flawlessly on my two set top players and on my ps2... I'm just concerned about durability....
