  1. Wow, this program is getting better!!!

    New features:

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    - fixed the crashes on Win98 and ME
    - runs better now on some problem title like Minority Report
    - added new feature to specify the compression ratio for extras and menus.
    - removed the auto destination folder creation of VIDEO_TS
many users had problems with that.

It works like a charm. Guys you will love the new option for adjusting the compression of extras (it is ajustable from 0 to 100%) I just test it using 45%, and extras look very good, leaving enough space for the movie. Everything is transcoded in 92 minutes (using my old 800Mhz Athlon computer). When you load your source files, the default value is 30%. You can change it from 0 to 100%, or choose to transcode all evenly. Choosing 0% is suppose to copy only the movie with no extras, but at this time this is not implemented (so if you choose it, transcoding of the extras will occur evenly).
With this new version aparently the "no audio bug" in some extras is fixed.
So far this guy had been improving his program in little time, making this program a really success...

I want to buy it as soon as I can figure a way to activate it on a computer that has no connection to the net. I emailed them and they answered however I don't understand what they told me to do (something about the computer ID).

It's a shame they haven't put the feature to copy the movie without the extras or menus in this version. Maybe the next one? Let's hope so...

  7. To do the code offline, you'd have to just copy down the hardware code, email it to the author, get the reg key back, copy that to your other machine and run it. Case closed.

I like this piece of software. It has some bugs but the author is working very hard to fix them, he is accessable and personable and listens to what his users say. When it's all said and done, I expect this to be one of the better programs.

The "Movie only" option will be in the next version I think.

Where do I get the hardware code?

  9. Yeah! the new version rocks!! I hate extras so.. making them 0% encoding = no extras but you keep the original dvd structure. Buy it if you can because the more people that buy it.. the better it seems to be getting.

Yeah I want to buy it but my mail is not working since my company website was moved to a new domain yesterday. So until I have my email back I can't get the program activated.

  11. yes..even better if you could set the extras to 0% or 1% that'd be sweet. I think in IC the lowest you can set extras to is 30%....I mainly just do main movie with IC and always keep main movie above 80% if at all possible.

The code is generated by the program. Only like maybe 10 digits or so. Email them to the author, he sends you back a registry file.
