  1. I've been using Videostudio 7 and since some of my movies are long, I've had trouble fitting them on 1 DVD. I've switched the audio to MPEG and it sounds ok but I'm curious as to what the difference is and which one is better or the 'default'.

    LPCM is uncompressed audio, MPEG is compressed audio.


    Note that some DVD players do not play MPEG audio unless it is the secondary audio and the primary audio is either PCM, LPCM or Dolby Digital.

  4. Greg12 is correct,if MP2 doesn't work you're stuck with LPCM.

    If you use 384kbps generally no but you save alot of space on your disk to up your video bitrate.
