I've recently bought the above drive but the driver CD that came with it is unreadable .

Can some kind soul please email me the DVD-RAM drivers that came with the drive, or let me know where they can be downloaded. I've perused the web but come up with a blank.

I'm told that with the correct drivers it's possible to drag and drop to the DVD-RAM drive in the same way that you would to a floppy drive.

    My email address is eja@blackburne74.freeserve.co.uk

    Many thanks

  2. Try and find out if it is manufactured by matsushita/panasonic if so get drivers at panasonic.com but choose oem sectin. Yes you can drag and drop. I love my panasonic lfd321 DVDRAM/R with ram I can format in like 17 sec I can drag and drop without any DLA software. I get hardware error checking. Plus since it writes nonsequechly unlike DVDRW+RW CDRW when you erase a file it actually gives you the space back unlike the other formats, and it can be erased like 100,000 times.Plus my drive writes to DVD/R as well. I love it. Got it fo Christmas my folks paid 200 bucks brand new in retail box with 7 programs and 1 DVDRam disc from Tigerdirect. And the discs I have burnt all on Emtec DVD/R play flawlessly on mt POS Oritron DVD Player
